John is a Denver native who grew up in SE Denver. He started his real estate career in 1980 after graduating from college. He settled in Aurora to raise his two sons with his late wife Kathy.  He worked for a couple of large real estate companies before starting Metrolink Realty in 2000. John has experienced up and down markets, from bubbles to busts. The early 80’s when mortgage rates were 16% were extremely challenging. The busts of the mid 80’s and 2008 gave John the experience needed to work with sellers in foreclosure and bank owned properties.  Low rates have fueled the Denver real estate recovery since the bubble of 2008. Combining low rates with the booming Denver economy continues to put pressure on home prices due to lack of inventory.
